- Usage: Turnbuckles are used to easily increase or decrease tension between cables, chains and ropes. Turnbuckles help equalize the load and correct an off-center of gravity. The turnbuckles' oval eye shape provides more room to attach connectors.
- Application Recommended Usage: Eye to hook galvanized turnbuckle configuration is intended for a shackle to be attached with a pin going through the eye and the hook allows for easy installment. Hook configurations are less secure due to the lack of a safety latch.
- Note: Eye to Hook galvanized turnbuckles are made for straight or in-line applications only. Do not use for overhead lifting applications or exceed the working load limit.
